We got a couple of new pieces of news today. Because Jonathan is eating 100% of every meal and is only getting 2 tube feedings a day now, the doctor is going to talk to the endocrine doctor to see if they can change those to snacks. We are trying to give him as much of his water intake by mouth so that hopefully, very soon, the tube will be able to come out for good. That will be awesome! They also told us today that when they feel we are able to handle things adequately with Jonathan and we get the doctor's okay, we may be able to take him off campus for a short time. We went to the play room today and played with play-doh, put together a Mrs. Potato Head doll and pushed buttons on another toy. Overall, we had a good day.
As you are praying for Jonathan, please remember to pray for his little mind and all that is going on inside. He is beginning to work on things that require him to think and it can cause much agitation. He throws his head back and forth and cries when he gets agitated. So pray for his agitation level, that God would drive out the confusion and frustration and replace it with His peace and order. Pray that he will be able to get the feeding tube out soon and that he will continue to improve each day. God has been so good to us. Praise His name for all His wonderful works.
